About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Expert to join our team at Wits Innovation Lab. As a DevOps Expert, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery, from development to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating tasks, such as deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment with performance expectations.
  • Work with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure to build and maintain cloud-based applications.
  • Implement configuration management tools like Puppet, SaltStack, and Ansible to manage infrastructure configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-standard best practices and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in operating Linux environments and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Ruby.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages, configuration management tools, and cloud platforms.
  • Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
