Senior IT General Controls Specialist

A Senior IT General Controls Specialist is needed to lead and manage the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of our organization's IT general controls. This role requires a deep understanding of ITGC principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
About the Role:
- Design and implement effective IT general controls that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the assessment, testing, and remediation of ITGCs.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ITGC effectiveness.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance ITGC efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for ITGC management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ITGC alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in ITGC, IT Audit, SOX Compliance, or IT Risk & Controls.
- Strong knowledge of IT processes, ITIL, COBIT, SOX, SOC 1/2 frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in ITGC design, implementation, and testing.
- Expertise in risk management, audit, and compliance.
- Proficiency in working with audit tools (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, SAP GRC, or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL (nice to have)
