We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our university's housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, inventory control, and waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
2. Inventory Management:
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with vendors to replenish stock and negotiate better prices.
3. Waste Management:
- Develop and implement effective waste management strategies, ensuring compliance with university policies and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and report on waste disposal activities, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Scheduling and Planning:
- Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for different areas of the campus.
- Coordinate with other departments to accommodate special events and activities.
5. Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the quality of work done by the housekeeping team.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement)
- 0 to 4 years of experience in a similar role (experience in educational institutions is a plus)
- Ability to manage a team and ensure timely completion of tasks
Location: Gurugram (Sector 23 A)
Salary: Rs.4,00,000 - 4,50,000 lacs per annum
