Are you a highly skilled professional looking for a challenging role that combines data science and AI engineering?

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Science and AI Engineer to join our team at Bosch. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading high-impact projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, NLP, and Computer Vision.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, sales teams, and domain experts, to drive project success from proposal to closure. Your expertise will help shape the direction of our data science and machine learning initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with business customers to identify new opportunities that align with departmental goals
  • Leading and growing the team on data scientists and AI engineers, providing tactical leadership and managing diverse talents and responsibilities
  • Managing and leading teams, communicating goals and objectives, providing iterative feedback, and monitoring performance
  • Contributing to organizational growth through acquiring new customers, hiring, training, and mentoring teams for competency development
  • Managing continuous improvement of data science and machine learning led initiatives by following industry best practices and staying current with state-of-the-art research
  • Leading teams building new assets and products by supporting the team and assisting in clearing QG stages
  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with departmental mission and goals

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Prior experience with accessibility solutions and their technical aspects is a plus
  • An ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical and product requirements is a must
  • A customer-first mindset to determine what the customer wants, how they want it, and in what capacity
  • Prior experience in planning and conducting usability studies among various groups of customers is a preference
  • 10+ years of experience in software development lifecycle
  • Willingness to keep up-to-date with new AI/ML and other niche technologies
  • Research mindset to understand upcoming trends and technologies and challenge the status quo
  • Proven experience delivering solutions to customers and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of business administration and management
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, SAFe etc.
  • Domain expertise in mobility, industry would be a bonus

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data science and AI engineering, with excellent leadership and communication skills. A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as MTech, MS, BE, BTech, or MCA, is required. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
