Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at CareerPaths in Bangalore. As a Java developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
About the Role:
- Back-End Development: Design and develop microservices-based architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Front-End Development: Develop dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications using Angular.
- Fullstack Development: Work on both the front-end and back-end components of software applications, ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side systems.
- Microservices & Cloud: Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for improved scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Database Design & Integration: Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB to design efficient and high-performing data models.
- API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and ensure the smooth integration with front-end applications.
- Collaboration: Work in a collaborative environment with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance by following best practices, writing unit and integration tests, and participating in code reviews.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in full-stack development, microservices, and cloud technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-12 years of hands-on experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Fullstack Development: Proven experience in Angular for front-end development, building responsive and scalable web applications.
- Technologies: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and Angular.
- Databases: Strong experience in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git or other version control systems.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Security: Understanding of security best practices in both front-end and back-end development.
- Testing Frameworks: Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Jasmine, Karma).
