Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to spearhead the development of our payment infrastructure platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs and backend services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java 8 and above, with experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. You should also be proficient in working with SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Redis).

You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions. Your role will involve optimizing application performance, ensuring reliability, and implementing security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.

As a proactive individual with a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture of our payment infrastructure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Work with databases to design efficient schemas and manage data flow.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of Java experience.
  • Strong programming knowledge in Java 8 and above.
  • Experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Redis).
  • Understanding of Microservices architecture and standard Queueing mechanisms.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work with different multicultural teams.
  • Managing project timelines and tasks along with agile development methodology.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
