Job Overview:

The Business Systems Lead role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of business systems solutions that meet the needs of internal and external customers. This position requires a strong background in business analysis, with experience working in telecommunications, broadband, and communications industries.

Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating software applications, libraries, toolkits, and full software life cycle tools to support business processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data encryption and database design (SQL Server), as well as the ability to coordinate with data owners and IT DBAs.

Mentorship is a key aspect of this role, requiring close collaboration with functional departments and ownership of work in an agile environment. The Business Systems Lead will provide thought leadership and guidance on issues, action items, assumptions, questions, requirements, and items requiring follow-up.

This position also involves reviewing and approving solution documents, test strategies, plans, and scripts. Additionally, the Business Systems Lead will support advanced solution design and configuration activities, document business processes, and map client practices to feature and function fit.

The ideal candidate will have 6-10+ years of overall experience in a functional and/or technical lead role, with five years' experience in multi-dimensional process-related functions. They must possess a minimum of 5 years of communications-related industry operational experience and/or implementing OSS projects within those markets.

Possessing excellent communication skills, the candidate must be able to travel as required. Desirable skills include computer proficiency, experience in process mapping and improvement identification, and knowledge of industry and business process knowledge.
