Job Role: Credit Management Specialist
The role of the Credit Management Specialist is to oversee and manage the credit control function of the organization.
This includes ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, minimizing bad debts, and maintaining healthy cash flow.
As a key member of the team, the Credit Management Specialist will be responsible for setting credit policies, evaluating credit risks, managing a team, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Policy Development
- Evaluate new and existing customer creditworthiness through financial analysis, credit scoring, and risk assessments.
- Approve or recommend credit limits based on thorough evaluation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective credit control procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on credit performance and trends.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in credit management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
