Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Cash Applications Specialist.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process cash payments with precision and speed into the ERP system.
  • Utilize bank statements to identify customer payments, verify amounts, and invoices.
  • Research and clear related invoices in the ERP system.
  • Prepare journals to reclassify payments received to correct customer accounts or general ledger accounts.
  • Resolve payment misapplications and prepare KPI dashboards and reports.
  • Support weekly SOX compliance requirements and participate in various projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cash Applications.
  • Proven experience in downloading bank statements, research, and posting of payments to customer accounts.
  • Applying cash, deep dive investigation, proactive follow-ups with stakeholders, and ability to call customers to resolve aged unapplied cash.
  • Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, and End-user knowledge of Customer Centric and O2C process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or relevant degree.
