About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. This includes contributing to large-scale planning of strategies, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects and programs associated with technology domains.

You will review complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. You will also resolve complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.

Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers are essential to resolving technical challenges and achieving goals. You will also lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp) and UNIX experience Software Enterprise Application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code.

Banking/Financial technology domain experience is preferred. Job expectations include collaborating with stakeholders to implement modernized and sustainable technology roadmaps, analyzing technical requirements, and implementing software solutions.

Additionally, you will actively contribute to building next-generation solutions for Commercial Banking Services, Digital & Payment channels, enhancing the service levels of current solutions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work in a global development environment.
