  • We are seeking a highly skilled Key Material Handling Equipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and design experience of major material handling equipment such as belt conveyors, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, bucket elevators, reclaimers, stackers, barge loaders, unloaders, truck loading/unloading stations, crushers, pneumatic conveying systems, diverters, slide gate valves, and lifting devices.
  • The successful candidate will have functional and technical knowledge of conveyor belt design, 3D modeling, process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems in steel plants or power plants. They will also be responsible for preparing profile drawings, calculations, and general arrangement drawings for belt conveying systems.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing technical specifications for material handling equipment, creating bills of quantity (BOQ) or bill of materials (BOM) for conveying systems, and developing concept notes, flow diagrams, conveyor design calculations, GA drawings, and detail fabrication drawings of technological structures.
  • The ideal candidate will also have procurement engineering skills, including datasheet preparation, technical specification writing, bid analysis, offer evaluation, technical recommendation, and vendor document reviews. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, such as IS/CEMA/ISO, is essential.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in Auto-Cad and MS-Office software.
    • 5-15 years of experience in design engineering.
