
Career Transition Specialist

This is a pivotal role supporting Regional Heads across territories in converting applications to paid students.
You will operate in a dynamic desk-based environment, utilizing strong communication skills and attention to detail. The goal is to ensure seamless experience for prospective students throughout their journey.
- Maintaining application pipelines by regularly checking progress and addressing delays.
- Ensuring accurate statuses without waiting for external inputs.
- SUPPORTING APPLICATION PROGRESSION: Collaborating with team members to move applications smoothly through the process and reach the visa stage.
- Assisting BD Teams with offer releases, interview links, delays from Admission/Visa teams, or other issues involving Admissions/Visa teams.
- CLOSURE OF PREVIOUS INTAKE APPLICATIONS: Following up with BD Teams for closure of past intake applications.
- PROVIDING CRM/TRAINING: Providing CRM/refresher training to new joiners or agents if required.
- DOCUMENT COLLECTION & FOLLOW-UPS: Engaging with agents/students for pending documents to facilitate conversion from COL to UCOL.
- Engaging with agents/students to ensure collection of visa documents as per regional checklist.
- Uploading documents – CO may upload the documents to help BDMs while they travel.
- Regular calling to agents/students for document follow-ups on COL/Visa stage.
- ASSESSMENT OF DOCUMENTS AT VISA STAGE: Ensuring all documents are received as per regional checklist, conducting detailed assessments for correctness as per visa requirements, forwarding documents to Compliance team for final review, and coordinating for release of Visa letter.
- DEADLINE COMMUNICATION: Regularly forwarding deadlines to agents and BD Team to ensure timely submission of application and documents.
- UPDATING NOTES ON CRM: Posting conversation summaries on CRM.
- Pipeline tracking and reporting: Monitoring pipeline progress for each brand/team member, generating reports, and sharing insights with RMs and Heads.
- COMMUNICATION: Promptly sharing important updates or new communications with BDMs, if not already communicated by DMs or Heads.
- MAINTAINING FOLLOW-UPS ON REFUND CASES: Following up on refund cases raised by BD teams.
- INNOVATIVE APPROACH: Predicting and resolving issues with proactive approach.
Essential Skills:
- Undergraduate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in Overseas Education industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excel/data statistics tools like pivot table/v-lookups.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
- Ability to manage diverse workload independently and as part of a team.
- Enjoy following and improving processes.
- Cool and calm temperament.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressures.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Zoho/SalesForce).
- Experience of working/studying abroad.
