About the Role

As a Client Due Diligence Specialist at Deutsche Bank, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the bank's clients in managing all Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and account opening requirements, adhering to strict regulatory standards and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in AML/KYC for Institutional Clients or a related compliance role within the corporate financial services industry. Strong analytical and writing skills are essential, as well as proficiency in German language skills (B2.2 equivalent or above). You will also possess excellent communication and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and assess risk scores.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Verify client data and perform due diligence checks on new and existing institutional clients
  • Review KYC documentation and perform risk assessments to ensure accurate and timely account openings
  • Liaise with business/compliance teams to advise on KYC requirements and sign off on new client adoptions
  • Manage new client adoption or regular review streams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Prepare timely reports and MIS for various stakeholders
