Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating innovative and effective plumbing and firefighting systems.

  • Develop comprehensive designs for plumbing and firefighting systems, including schematic designs, construction drawings, and tender documents
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet specifications and needs
  • Prepare detailed calculations and notes as required
  • Produce high-quality shop drawings for submission and resubmission
  • Select and prepare materials for procurement
  • Contact suppliers to request quotations and technical documents
  • Take off bill of quantities for firefighting and plumbing systems
  • Prepare information on design, specification, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and construction timelines
  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to determine functional and spatial requirements
  • Direct the preparation of drawing and specification documents
  • Plan project layouts
  • Prepare scale drawings
  • Collaborate with supervisors in preparing technical reports and site installations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Develop project schedules, designs, and constructions
  • Prepare progress reports, daily reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports
  • Compile material lists
  • Determine costing for bidding
