Senior DevOps Engineer with Focus on Reliability and Automation

Job Description:

As a Lead DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer at Zeta Global, you will play a crucial role in supporting production and development environments. Your responsibilities will include creating new tools and processes, automating deployment and monitoring procedures, leading continuous integration efforts, and administering source control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement monitoring strategies to ensure production system reliability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated processes for engineering and operations, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Manage production, pre-production, and test environments, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance collaboration and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Maintain and administer source control systems, ensuring secure and scalable code management.
  • Provide on-call support for production systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or TechOps Engineer.
  • 5+ years of tools development or automation experience using Python, Perl, Java, or Go.
  • 3+ years of containerization and orchestration experience.
  • Solid experience in managing production environments in a public cloud, preferably AWS.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Loki, Grafana.
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience in setting up and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
