Automation Expert Sought

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Expert to spearhead the commissioning and process controls of industrial projects.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on field knowledge, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in developing automation solutions using PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and electrical systems, including thermocouples, pressure, and level transmitters/switches, proximity sensors, modulating valves, and power earthing is required.
  • The Automation Expert should also be proficient in establishing communication protocols including Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, and IoT, with experience working with MQTT protocol.
  • We are looking for a candidate who can work with various platforms like Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Schneider, preparing and reviewing IO lists, and developing SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Demonstrate project management capabilities, including team leadership, vendor coordination, and procurement knowledge, with ownership of deliverables in projects.
  • Familiarity with panel wiring and termination, and willingness to perform physical work during setup is also essential.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills are required, with experience in creating functional design specifications, IO documentation, and control panel layouts, and reporting and email communication.
