Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Sr Automation Tester.

About the Job

This position requires an individual with expertise in test automation, programming languages, and software development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, TestNG/JUnit, and Selenium, as well as experience with CI servers like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated tests using programming languages like Core Java 11+
  • Implement test automation frameworks like TestNG/JUnit
  • Work with developers to integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement data-driven testing approaches
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to clean coding principles
  • Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and tools

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming language: Core Java 11+, TestNg/Junit,
  • SCM: Git, Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket
  • Build Management: Maven
  • Test Automation Libraries: Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber
  • CI Server: Jenkins or GithubActions
  • Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of parallel execution, distributed test execution, test logging, reporting, etc.
