Patent Associate Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site opportunity for a Patent Associate to join our team.

Job Description:

The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for handling US patent prosecution related to all Life Sciences cases, with a focus on drafting and prosecuting patents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently handle US patent prosecution related to all Life Sciences cases
  • Conduct patent research and analysis
  • Review the work of junior associates and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in US Patent Prosecution and Drafting
  • Master's or advanced degree in Life sciences (preferably chemistry)
  • Expert knowledge of US patent laws
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in handling Office Actions and drafting non-provisional patent applications
  • Registered Indian patent agent preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience in training juniors and reviewing their work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
