Job Overview:

Corporate Tax Consultant

As a Corporate Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in managing corporate tax computations for multiple entities. Your expertise in UAE Corporate Tax law and international taxation principles will drive the implementation of compliance processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly and annual corporate tax computations, ensuring timely submission of tax deliverables.
  • Review tax workings, reconcile with financial statements, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax law, including DTAA provisions and international transaction treatment.
  • Handle computation of Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) and Deferred Tax Liabilities (DTL) as per IFRS/GAAP.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals handling UAE compliance delivery.
  • Review outputs for technical accuracy and completeness, providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions to ensure team members are updated on compliance and regulatory developments.

Implementation & Process Improvement:

  • Interpret and implement updates in UAE Corporate Tax law across client engagements.
  • Update working templates and SOPs to reflect regulatory changes, driving standardization and efficiency across compliance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax is required. Strong experience in tax compliance, preferably including UAE Corporate Tax, is also necessary. A background in Big 4 / Tier-1 consulting firms is preferred. Solid understanding of tax compliances, DTAA provisions, and international taxation principles, deferred tax computation (DTA/DTL), IFRS/GAAP for tax accounting, and strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
