MFA Migration Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the migration project from traditional multifactor authentication methods to modern, cloud-based solutions. As an MFA Migration Specialist, you will work closely with various teams to ensure a seamless transition and minimal disruption to services and user experience.

Technical Expertise

As a seasoned expert in identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect, you will provide technical guidance and support for integration and troubleshooting of MFA solutions. Your extensive experience with Cisco DUO, RSA SecurID, and Microsoft Authenticator will be crucial in driving successful migrations.

Design & Architecture

Collaborate with architecture teams to design robust MFA solutions that meet the security needs of the organization while complying with industry regulations. Your knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and risk assessment strategies will be invaluable in ensuring the effectiveness of our MFA solutions.

Policy Development

Develop and enforce MFA policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed in line with the organization's security framework. Your expertise in regulatory compliance and security requirements will be essential in creating effective policies that protect our organization's assets.

User Training & Support

Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on MFA processes and tools, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of the new system. Your excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will enable you to effectively train and support our teams.

Monitoring & Reporting

Implement monitoring solutions to track MFA usage, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management regarding MFA effectiveness and potential improvements. Your ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights will be critical in driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a focus on Multi-Factor Authentication solutions.
  • Proven experience in working with financial institutions, understanding regulatory compliance, and security requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco DUO, RSA SecurID, and Microsoft Authenticator, with a demonstrated track record of successful migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of identity protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and enterprise security frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
