Job Title: Thermal Solutions Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Thermal Solutions Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing thermal insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, remove, and repair thermal insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems.
  • Select suitable thermal insulation materials based on heat retaining or excluding characteristics.
  • Utilize hand or power tools or machines to fabricate, assemble, repair, and install thermal insulation.
  • Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with covers of metallic or nonmetallic, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement or asphalt mastic.
  • Determine quantities and types of thermal insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
  • Inspect and assess installations and conditions, and adjust, repair, or replace thermal insulation materials to ensure effective insulation.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Thermal Insulator.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of thermal insulation systems in industrial settings.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina to handle physical demands of the job.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations and best practices.
  • High school diploma or Professional School diploma or equivalent.
  • A certificate in thermal insulation or a related field is preferred.
