About the Role

As a senior software development expert, you will design and develop critical software solutions that support healthcare operations by utilizing standard technologies and approved methodologies.

  • Lead and manage teams to deliver high-quality results and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage emerging technologies and ensure effective communication and project objectives are met.
  • Provide expertise in applications development, integration, and maintenance, and contribute to departmental and project-level decision-making processes.
  • Analyze and gather requirements for new implementations and change requests, and develop detailed technical specifications and mappings in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Develop ITX typetrees, maps, and systems related to mapping specifications, and apply best practices in coding.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to understand business requirements and work collaboratively with architects and other stakeholders to define integration architecture.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and business partners to drive project success, and provide post-go-live support and technical enhancements.
  • Contribute to technical improvements and automation of message reprocessing in case of environment outages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in integration development, design, and implementation, with a minimum of 7 years performing in a WTX/ITX developer role with UNIX and PL/SQL hands-on experience.
  • IBM WTX/ITX development knowledge, including MAP, Typetree, Database Integration Design, and Integration Flow Designer.
  • Experience with IBM MQ development, including SSL, channels, queues, and MQIPT, as well as knowledge of various file formats (XML, flat file, JSON, EDIFACT) and implementing using ITX.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL complex queries, understanding of database table views packages, and Unix server basic commands and shell script understanding.
  • Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to exhibit creative thinking and define sound practical solutions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn complex business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in healthcare logistics environments is a plus.
