Senior SDET Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior SDET to join our team in Bangalore.

The primary role is to be involved in initiatives for Quality Assurance, understand and execute day-to-day test activities, and perform testing utilizing processes, methods, metrics, and software that ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, systems safety, performance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a test strategy through decomposing business and technical requirements into test case scenarios
  • Define test data requirements and prepare sample test data
  • Develop and automate test cases using Cucumber (BDD), Java/Python automation tools
  • Work in a CI-CD mode of operations using Jenkins or circle-ci
  • Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks using JMeter tool
  • Test data pipeline and ETL testing using Kafka messaging layer to ensure data quality
  • Ensure scalability by testing Big-Data platform components effectively
  • Perform system integration testing with upstream and downstream sub-systems
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve the QA process
  • Coordinate release trains and deployment activities
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience as a Senior SDET in platform engineering and automation development
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • Familiarity with infrastructure environments in cloud like AWS and GCP
  • Knowledge on containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on skills in operating UNIX/LINUX based operating systems
  • Experience with programming languages like Java or Python
  • Experience of test automation methodology and integrating test cases to the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/Circle-ci
  • Experience with source control systems like GIT and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus etc.
