Portfolio Analyst Role

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in supporting business success by providing actionable insights and high-quality data. As a key member of the PMO team, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders to design, implement, and maintain portfolio management processes that drive business value.

This includes:

  • Developing and implementing data collection strategies to ensure timely and accurate project data.
  • Facilitating data quality checks and issue escalation to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Transforming data into actionable insights through advanced analytical techniques.
  • Presenting performance metrics to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing reporting systems to support portfolio management initiatives.
  • Ensuring data integrity and quality across all projects and releases.
  • Providing analytical support to project teams to inform delivery planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or associated field.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, interpret, and present complex data sets.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
