Highly Skilled Software Development Lead

We're looking for a talented Staff Engineer to join our team. Our engineers work together to build innovative solutions that make a real impact.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 3 years of experience in platform/dev productivity roles. They should be proficient in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, IaC, and have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates. Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java are also required.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving change. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Developer Productivity / Platform Engineering team, setting vision and execution roadmap.
- Design and build internal tools/platforms that optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, service monitoring tools).
- Partner with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with org-wide goals & OKRs.
- Champion best practices around continuous delivery, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Evangeline team's work internally (workshops, training, cross-team adoption) and externally (conferences, blogs, OSS).
- Mentor engineers, foster innovation, and build a culture of experimentation & learning.
- 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, IaC.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience designing ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools.
- Proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
- Strong communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
