Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Validation Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for validating and debugging complex HPC systems.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in silicon validation. You will work closely with our team to ensure the quality and reliability of our server-grade CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators.

Responsibilities

  • System-Level Validation: Perform thorough validation and debug of heterogeneous HPC compute subsystems involving CPU clusters, GPUs, AI accelerators, memory interconnects, and HSIO interfaces.
  • Workload-Oriented Validation: Ensure scaling, performance, and reliability through workload-oriented validation.
  • Pipeline Validation: Validate CPU/GPU pipelines, AI engines, and shared memory interactions in server SoCs.
  • Performance Evaluation: Run performance and stress workloads (MLPerf, GPGPU, HPC apps) across compute domains.
  • Debugging Coherency Issues: Debug coherency, cache, memory access, and interconnect issues (PCIe, CXL, HBM/DDR).
  • System Power States and Boot Flows: Validate system-level power states, boot flows, and driver stack interactions.
  • Regression Automation: Automate regression, triage failures, and ensure data center readiness of silicon.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Silicon Validation Experience: 8+ years of experience in silicon validation of server-grade CPUs, GPUs, or AI accelerators.
  • HPC System Architecture: Deep understanding of HPC system architecture (NUMA, cluster modes, interconnect scaling).
  • Multidomain Validation: Multidomain validation with experience in CPU-GPU-accelerator coherency testing.
  • Coherency and Interconnect Knowledge: Strong understanding of coherency, interconnects, shared memory, and compute kernel behavior.
  • Stress and Bandwidth Profiling: Memory and IO stress, bandwidth profiling, latency tuning Hands-on with debug tools, benchmarking, and Python/C-based test automation.
  • LINUX and HPC Platforms: Familiarity with Linux platforms, HPC clusters, or virtualized server environments.

Good to Have:

  • AIFrameworks: Knowledge of AI inference frameworks (OpenVINO, TensorRT), and HPC middleware (MPI/OpenMP).
  • System Thermal and Fault Injection Testing: System thermal, power envelope, and fault injection testing experience.
