Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced mechanical design professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and design, with expertise in automation, electromechanical systems, and related concepts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing precision components and fabricated structures, conducting design reviews and checks, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to qualify new designs. They will also be responsible for meeting customer specifications and requirements, providing technical support, and working on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with 4-10 years of relevant experience. You should also be well-versed in the creation, reading, and interpretation of engineering drawings and standards, particularly limits fits and tolerances, GD & T, surface finish, and material handling equipment.

Key skills and responsibilities include:

  • Experience in automation, electromechanical systems, and related concepts
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and propose feasible ideas and concepts
  • Knowledge of CAD 2D/3D platforms, particularly AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS
  • Familiarity with DFx (DFM, DFS, DFA) concepts and best machining processes
  • Awareness of engineering materials, surface treatment, EDM EBM mechatronics, and robotics
