Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mobile Release Engineer to manage and streamline the release process for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, with hands-on experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.

This role requires excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to align on release goals and priorities.

  • Manage end-to-end mobile app releases on App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring timely and quality deployments
  • Monitor app performance using tools like Datadog, Grafana, and other observability platforms
  • Coordinate with federated teams across geographies, leading release calls and ensuring alignment on timelines and deliverables
  • Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control, CI/CD workflows, and cherry-picking commits for hotfixes and patch releases
  • Handle ServiceNow operations including change requests, issue triaging, assignment, and ensuring adherence to SLOs
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify and execute production and regression test cases
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to align on release goals and priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Streamline mobile app release processes to ensure timely and quality deployments
  2. Monitor app performance using various tools and observability platforms
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on release goals and priorities
  4. Utilize automation tools for version control, CI/CD workflows, and hotfix deployments
  5. Manage ServiceNow operations to ensure adherence to service level objectives (SLOs)
  6. Collaborate with QA and development teams to execute test cases and improve software quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 9+ years of experience in mobile app release management or DevOps
  • Hands-on experience in developing mobile applications using React Native
  • Experience working in agile, federated team environments
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native architectures
  • Passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement
