Job Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned Backend Developer with expertise in both Java and Node.js to drive the development of our cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems utilizing Java and Node.js frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration with databases and third-party services.
  • Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes to ensure quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Integrate with various databases (SQL and NoSQL), third-party services, and internal APIs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee code quality and stability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues efficiently and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java and related frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Node.js for backend development, with hands-on experience with popular frameworks and tools.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API development, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, as well as familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and proficiency with tools like JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Frontend development experience (React, Angular, or Vue) is a valuable asset.
  • Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ, as well as knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
