Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced cloud architect with a strong DevOps background and proven knowledge in AI/ML platforms to join us as a freelancer / part-time contractor. This role demands 10+ years of overall experience, with the ability to provide strategic architecture leadership while being hands-on with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions for enterprise systems and AI/ML workloads by designing and optimizing architectures.
  • Create VPC networks, hybrid cloud environments, and advanced networking architectures that meet business needs.
  • Lead cloud strategy by actively working with AWS CLI, automation scripts, and infrastructure provisioning tools.
  • Define, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployments for both DevOps and AI/ML use cases.
  • Support AI/ML development teams with cloud-native infrastructure, GPU/compute resource management, and scalable data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver future-ready, cost-optimized, and compliant cloud solutions.
  • Create documentation, best practices, and mentor teams where required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years focused on AWS Architecture and DevOps.
  • Proven expertise in VPC networking, AWS multi-account design, and security best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS CLI, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD automation, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on exposure to AI/ML platforms and workflows (AWS Sage Maker, EC2 GPU, Lambda, EKS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with deployment automation, release management, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a freelance / part-time contractor capacity.
