Expert Public Health Engineer

We seek a skilled professional to carry out detailed engineering design for piped water supply and drainage systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building services design, with strong knowledge of Indian Standards and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in plumbing and fire protection system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed engineering design for piped water supply and above/below ground drainage.
  • Perform engineering design for public health and fire protection systems.
  • Draft technical schedules and specifications for plumbing and fire protection services.
  • Evaluate and assess building services documentation at all design stages.
  • Provide valuable design input and technical guidance across project phases.
  • Design sustainable plumbing and fire protection systems with strong knowledge of hydraulics and piping systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers to ensure coordinated project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 36 years experience in building services design engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in plumbing and fire protection system design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian Standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Broad building design knowledge across a wide range of projects.
  • Excellent Excel skills (including use of macros).
  • Mechanical engineering expertise with good understanding of electrical concepts.
  • Awareness of multidisciplinary collaboration.
