Job Description

The role of a Senior SAP Basis Engineer is a critical position that requires advanced technical expertise in managing and maintaining SAP systems. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of SAP applications, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing proactive support to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, including implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. They must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective solutions for complex SAP system problems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers on SAP technologies and methodologies.
  • Participate in incident management, working with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP NetWeaver 7.4 and SAP HANA 2.0.
  • Experience with change management process, including planning, monitoring, and executing changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
