SAP Identity Management (IDM) is an essential part of any organization's security infrastructure. The role of a SAP IDM professional involves implementing and managing identity management systems to ensure secure access to company resources.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing identity management solutions that meet the needs of our organization. This includes configuring SAP IAS (Identity Authentication Service) to provide secure single sign-on (SSO) capabilities, as well as integrating with corporate identity providers such as Azure AD, Okta, and Ping Identity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement identity management solutions using SAP IDM/IAS
  • Configure SAP IAS for secure SSO and integration with corporate identity providers
  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning for SAP applications
  • Implement role-based access control and entitlements for SAP BTP services

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in SAP Security/IAM, with at least 3+ years in IAS/IPS
  2. Strong hands-on expertise in SAP IAS, including SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, federation
  3. Practical experience in SAP IPS provisioning for S/4HANA Cloud and BTP applications
  4. Deep understanding of SAP BTP security concepts – subaccounts, role collections, entitlements, trust setup
  5. Experience with corporate identity providers (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity) integration

Desirable skills:

  • Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control or SAP IDM for governance and role-based provisioning
  • Knowledge of certificate-based authentication, SCIM, and Zero Trust models
  • Experience in BTP multi-tenant and service-to-service authentication setups
  • Familiarity with authorization concepts in S/4HANA Cloud and BTP services
