Key Responsibilities:

• Complete all In-Patient Department (IPD) and Out-Patient Department (OT) tasks at the start of each day.

• Initiate daily operations in OPD, including consultation and counselling for all patients.

• Perform IUI and sonography procedures as required.

• Provide prescriptions and requisitions as necessary.

• Conduct morning and evening rounds with assistant doctors and nurses to ensure patient care is up to standard.

• Verify that patient files are complete and accurate.

• Review daily orders written by assistant doctors.

• Check patient parameters and investigations.

• Monitor patient charts.

• Verify IPD and OT consents for newly admitted patients.

• Advise patients on necessary investigations and provide instructions.

• Identify and address any patient complaints or concerns.

• Participate in evening rounds with nurses to ensure patient care is maintained.

• Perform operative procedures such as OPU, ET, and HLScopy as scheduled.

• Ensure operative procedures begin promptly.

• Confirm that pre-operative preparations are completed according to the checklist.

• Assist or conduct OT wash-ups as needed.

• Enter anaesthesia notes into the system.

• Document OT notes accurately.

• Provide post-operative orders to assistant doctors.

• Conduct immediate post-op rounds to verify patient care.

• Provide post-operative counselling to patient relatives.

• Ensure software entries record post-operative findings from sisters and assistant doctors.

• Determine discharge eligibility and coordinate with RMOs to prepare discharge papers.

• Verify documentation accuracy in accordance with checklists and transfer files to HR.

• Respond to emergency situations and seek senior gynaecological support when necessary.

• Participate in outreach and camp activities as assigned.

• Supervise and monitor clinical staff performance.
