NLP Research Specialist

We are seeking an experienced NLP Research Specialist to drive proof-of-concepts from rapid iterations to rigorous experimental evaluations on clinical-text tasks.

  • Rapidly prototype novel LLM architectures, adapter modules, and prompt-tuning strategies for tasks such as clinical note summarization, entity extraction, and question answering.
  • Define evaluation protocols, run ablation studies, and analyze results to quantify improvements in accuracy, robustness, and domain generalization.
  • Build end-to-end POCs demonstrating how research breakthroughs translate into tangible gains on real healthcare datasets.
About the Role

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in model development and prototyping. They will explore and implement state-of-the-art LLM architectures, prompt engineering strategies, and LLM training techniques tailored to healthcare and oncology text.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Model Innovation & Prototyping: Rapid innovation of novel LLM architectures and their application to various NLP tasks.
  2. Experimental Design & Analysis: Detailed analysis of model performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing experiments to test new approaches.
  3. Proof-of-Concept Development: Designing and implementing comprehensive POCs to validate research findings and their potential impact.
  4. Literature & Trend Monitoring: Staying up-to-date with the latest NLP/ML research, distilling key innovations, and suggesting experiments to apply these advancements in our clinical environment.
