Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating modern, cost-efficient, and production-ready designs for engineered wood furniture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in CAD/CAM software, CNC machining, and material optimization. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with our production and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop furniture concepts for home, storage, décor, and modular products.
  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for CNC production.
  • Optimize board usage to minimize wastage.
  • Translate designs into CNC-ready files (nesting + G-code).
  • Align designs with modern trends, cost efficiency, and fast delivery goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Wood Technology.
  • ITI/Polytechnic candidates with relevant CNC/furniture design experience will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Fusion 360 / SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, Vectric Aspire / Cabinet Vision.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, including CNC Router operations, nesting optimization, and G-code/toolpath generation.
