Senior IC Design Engineer - Mixed Signal SoC

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of complex mixed signal systems on chip.

  • Design and implement cutting-edge mixed-signal SoCs from RTL to GDS2.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers in the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to integrate blocks into the design.
  • Evaluate and ensure that each aspect of the design meets the specified requirements.

Key Qualifications:

Technical Requirements
  • Proven experience in all phases of IC design, including RTL to GDS2.
  • Analog/Mixed/Custom Signal PNR expertise preferred for optimal digital and mixed signal SoC partitioning.
  • Familiarity with TSMC 7nm PNR sign-off using full COT flow from RTL/Gate to GDS.
  • Experience in developing PNR methodologies/flows and supporting large-scale PD teams.
  • Hierarchical Place & Route expertise.
  • Proficiency in Floorplanning, clock & power network architecture and design.
  • Knowledge of UPF/CPF power intent flow – multiple supply domains (bump, deca, power switch placement methods).
  • In-depth understanding of digital design, timing analysis, and DFT.
  • Awareness of LVS/DRC/ERC, EMIR (static & dynamic).
  • Knowledge of FCBGA I/O ring layout.
  • Proficient in EDA tools: Cadence (Innovus, Voltus), Mentor (Calibre), Ansys (Redhawk, Totem).
Experience
  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5-10 years' experience in chip implementation and 3-5 years as a top-level lead.
  • Track record of successful final production tape-outs at 16/14nm, 10nm, preferably 7nm.
  • Familiarity with embedded processors and high-speed interfaces/memory controllers.
  • Able to contribute to and guide the development process to meet stringent industry requirements.
  • Experience with automotive-qualified designs.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Keen to learn and implement innovative hardware technologies.
  • Must be able to solve complex problems and drive tasks to completion within tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
