Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the safe execution of EPC projects within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, procedures, and instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement SSOW systems, risk assessments, and PTW/WMS processes.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on relevant HSE procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HSE management within the construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning sectors.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Possess NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 certifications.
  • Incident Investigation Techniques certificate.

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven understanding of HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in Oil & Gas EPC business.
  • Ability to lead teams of HSE personnel and foster a positive safety culture.
  • Sound understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
