Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data integrations using InterSystems IRIS between HIE partners and internal On-prem/Cloud systems.

You will work closely with our team to debug and fix defects in InterSystems IRIS related any in-house solutions built.

In addition, you will develop custom object scripts to meet client-specific requirements and create XSLTs and DTLs to transform CCDA/FHIR/HL7 messages to and from Summary Document Architecture (SDA) format.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth development and support of our systems, creating design and technical specifications from business requirement specifications.

You will also oversee best practices in design and development, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with fellow developers and Technical Leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with strong software development experience, who are proactive and highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.

  • Must have experience in InterSystems IRIS for health, ObjectScript, Ensemble.
  • Must have experience in Integration protocols such as TCPIP/MLLP, SFTP, REST, SOAP
  • Must be able to create DTL mappings from SDA and workflows to process documents.
  • Must be able to create custom business services/process/operations
  • Should have proficiency in CCDA, HL7, FHIR, JSON and XML messaging
  • Should have proficiency in using development tools like GIT, VS Code
  • Nice to have GCP/GKE exposure
