Job Description

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale systems that can handle millions of requests without breaking a sweat. You will work closely with the product team to understand new features and projects, and figure out the best way to build them.

The ideal candidate will have strong system design skills and experience building complex systems using Go. They should also have good knowledge of Kafka, Docker, and AWS services such as ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Go.
  • Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Can write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
