Senior Application Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Development Specialist to join our development team. This role involves designing and developing complex applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Restful Web Service Client/Server Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct systems analysis and design to meet business requirements.
  • Design and develop moderate to highly complex applications, ensuring high-quality code and efficient implementation.
  • Develop application documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
  • Produce integration builds to ensure seamless interactions between applications.
  • Perform maintenance and support tasks to ensure the stability and reliability of developed applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and products, providing recommendations for adoption and integration into our development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Restful Web Service Client/Server Development.
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps and Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline, with added advantage of experience with AMQ & cloud/Open shift.
  • Experience with GCP & Big Query, as well as SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database management.
  • Familiarity with Code Quality Inspection Tools, Dependency Management Systems, and Software Vulnerability Detection and Remediation.
  • Agile Development and Sprint Ceremonies expertise.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Preferred).
