Job Title: Record to Report Specialist

Key Information:

Our organization seeks a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Record to Report Specialist. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and core business systems.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in journal entry preparation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS and GAAP.
  • Proficiency in revenue accounting, property plant and equipment (PPE) valuation, variance analysis, and trial balance preparation.
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries, month-end activities, book close procedures, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle Accounting ERP systems, and balance sheet tools such as Blackline and Trintech.
  • Ability to use systems effectively, entering and validating data, and ensuring data quality according to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Exposure to root cause analysis (RCA) and process improvements.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service.
Secondary Skills:
  • SAP/Oracle end-user experience and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; ensuring facts are correct, complete, and consistent.
  • Adherence to internal controls, compliance, and policy requirements.
