Job Title:
Senior Metallurgical Engineer
- Expertise in heat treatment, steel making, aluminum forging, steel forging, anodizing, and welding is required.
- Proficiency in operating test equipment such as Rockwell, tensile, Brinell, and microscopy (particularly particle count) is necessary.
- Hands-on experience in metallography is essential.
- Interpretation of industry standards including ISO, ASTM, DIN, VDA, and EN is crucial.
- Familiarity with automotive exposure and ability to establish alignment with IATF 16949 requirements is a must.
- Understanding of engineering drawing interpretation, control plan, FMEA, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ELV, and SOC is vital.
- Establish and maintain effective laboratory management systems.
- Develop and optimize forging and heat treatment processes according to customer specifications.
