Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled organic chemist to drive innovation and advance research goals in our laboratory.

  • The successful candidate will design, synthesize, and characterize organic compounds for various applications.
Main Responsibilities

This role involves conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing Novel Synthesis Routes: Designing novel synthesis routes to target compounds.
  2. Purifying and Characterizing Organic Molecules: Purifying and characterizing organic molecules using techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  3. Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyzing experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
  4. Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Education: PhD / Master's degree in organic chemistry or related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Industrial Experience: 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques.
