Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer with expertise in Audio Codec development and Rust programming. The candidate will design, implement, and optimize low-level firmware for audio codec solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with multimedia and embedded standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Firmware modules for audio codec drivers (encode/decode, signal processing, streaming).
  • Low-Level Implementation: Real-time audio pipelines using Rust for firmware.
  • Audio Data Paths: Work on DSP integration, codec algorithms, and optimization.
  • Driver Development: Device drivers, HAL, and board support packages.
  • Optimization: Memory, performance, and power consumption for embedded audio solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Debugging issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–14 years of experience in embedded firmware development, at least 3+ years in audio codec domain.
  • Expertise in Rust programming for embedded systems.
  • C/C++ knowledge for low-level embedded development.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio codecs: AAC, MP3, SBC, Opus, Dolby, FLAC, PCM.
  • Experience with I2S, I2C, SPI, DMA, USB Audio, ALSA/ASoC.
  • RTOS/Linux kernel driver development skills.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools.
  • Version control and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
Desirable Skills:
  • Cross-compilation toolchains and build systems.
  • Real-time audio streaming frameworks.
  • DSP programming or ARM Cortex-M/A architectures.
  • Rust embedded ecosystem exposure.
  • Audio Quality testing methodologies.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving and mentoring junior engineers.
