About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Applications Engineering team focused on delivering advanced DFT solutions across India.

As a senior technical leader, you will define and execute strategic initiatives to increase Synopsys' market presence and customer success.

You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that Synopsys' DFT offerings align with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Applications Engineering team and driving business growth.
  • Defining and executing strategic initiatives to increase market presence and customer success.
  • Acting as a senior technical leader and trusted advisor.
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Translating customer feedback into actionable insights for product development and process enhancement.
  • Overseeing multiple concurrent projects and managing cross-functional collaboration.
  • Promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in DFT, Synthesis, or other front-end digital design technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage complex technical programs.
  • Strong project management skills, including risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with technical documentation standards.
  • BSEE, MSEE, PhD, or equivalent with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and global team management is highly desirable.
