Chief Technology Officer - Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to drive innovation and excellence in software engineering. As Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers, driving the delivery of high-quality software products, and making strategic technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development guidance to software engineering staff.
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality software products, emphasizing continuous innovation, test automation, and performance engineering.
  • Make sound technical and strategic decisions, navigating ambiguity with confidence and active listening.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, address, and creatively resolve application issues.
  • Contribute to and review software design and architecture, ensuring scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of combined engineering management/team lead experience in enterprise/web applications.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise/web applications.
  • 4+ years of direct experience leading software engineering staff.
  • 3+ years of experience building and leveraging APIs, particularly with Microsoft Technologies.
  • Strong expertise in scalable web application development, with a preference for Cloud SaaS application development.
  • Full-stack proficiency, including hands-on experience with frontend (e.g., React/Angular), backend (e.g., .Net, Web API), and data technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Redis).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and modern data architectures.
  • Proven software design and architecture experience.
  • Exceptional decision-making capabilities and an ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
