Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Security Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on SAP security processes and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP security, governance, risk and compliance, with experience in assessing business role requirements, designing and managing security authorizations, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

This is a cross-functional support role that will interface with IT and business areas as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Administration: Assess business role requirements, design, build, and manage security authorizations, ensuring compliance to security policies and procedures.
  • SAP Security Management: Collaborate and recommend proposals to keep SAP security up to date.
  • Project Implementation: Manage and monitor project implementations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist with policy and procedure enforcement and reporting.
  • Documentation: Create and update policy, security baseline, and training documents.
  • Training: Facilitate trainings on GRC Access Control Module (SAP access request, Firefighter activity review, etc.).
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working with SAP R/3, security and compliance experience with GRC v10.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment (at minimum support US hours).
  • Strong work ethic and effective/professional communications at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit strong sense of urgency.
