Job Title: Senior FPGA Lead Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA prototyping engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge FPGA solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex FPGA designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in digital circuit design, experience with Verilog, and knowledge of various FPGA tools and technologies. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • FPGA Bit File Generation:
    • Design and modify Verilog models to integrate them into SOC designs, generating FPGA bit files.
    • Debug issues independently related to FPGA synthesis.
    • Use or modify FPGA test benches to run simulations for basic functional quality checks.
  • Debug Support:
    • Work closely with the firmware team to provide debug support.
    • Collaborate with design and DV teams for issue debug and fix.
  • Documentation:
    • Document clearly the steps involved in FPGA build and testbench setup.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA architecture, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, and related tools (Vivado).
  • Working experience on HAPS boards.
  • Proficiency in Verilog to modify models to suit the platform.
  • Understanding of SoC architecture, AHB bus protocols, DDR controller, MIPI protocol, I2C protocol.
  • Experience debugging hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
