About the Role

Madison Logic is looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to oversee aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports. To ensure success as a Senior QA Tester, you should have extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top-notch Senior QA Tester ensures the smooth running of the QA department and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Participating actively in Agile development lifecycle.
  • Working with Product and Engineering departments to understand and translate complex, technical information into appropriate testing documentation and processes using industry standard best practices.
  • Implementing test cases in TestRail and verifying fixes through regression testing individually.
  • Working with development and support leads to identify all testing needs, manual and automated, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for product and project scopes.
  • Working directly with the QA lead and development team to form a solid understanding of technical side for each project.
  • Overseeing the drafting of testing documents in TestRail.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
  • Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market into executable test cases/strategies.
  • Responding to requests from the management, Development and Product team.
Basic Responsibilities
  • 4+ years of experience in QA Engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Any automation technology Cypress or Java-Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience on JavaScript or any other coding language.
  • Basic knowledge of BDD Frameworks -cucumber, jasmine, Mocha etc.
  • Knowledge of version control system Git or Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tool, Jenkins/TeamCity is preferable.
  • Knowledge of API/DB testing.
  • Scripting or other automation tool experience, such as Java Script, Cypress, Browser Stack, Selenium, Test Rail.

Compensation

Expected Compensation: (Dependent upon Experience) Fixed CTC: 15 LPA - 17 LPAPay Transparency/Equity:We are committed to paying our team equitably for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience . Salary Range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process taking into account the experience, education, certifications and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated team members, as well as employer-verified region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner.
